I purchased this product because I mainly breastfeed my baby. However, I do give him a bottle at night. I did want to spend too much money on a bottle warmer I would hardly be using. This product works great. It has my baby bottle ready in minutes. I would highly recommend it.
Nasal Wash is better at body temperature, but it's inconvenient to hear in microwave. This hearts to perfect temps each time. I also use it to serilize the bottles regularly. I searched and couldn't find any better.
A compact, no-frill, corded bottle warmer that does one thing very well: warm bottles.
The instruction manual is a little confusing but here how's I made it work for me consistently.
1. Put the bottle inside the metal container.
2. Add tap water outside the bottle until the water reaches the top of the metal container. Do this step second so you don't accidentally overfill it!
3. Turn the knob all the way to the right (to sterilize setting)
4. When the orange light turns off (about 2-3 minutes), the bottle is sufficiently warmed.
Alternatively if you start with water that already reached temperature (the orange light is off) and you put in a fresh bottle, it takes 3 minutes for fridge-temperature and 2 minutes for tap water-temperature (for 3 oz bottles).
Test with:
Dr. Brown, Nuk, Avent, Mam bottles
With filtered water from the fridge (~60F), it takes 3 minutes to warm 3 oz of liquid. With tap water (~75F), it takes 2 minutes to warm 3 oz of liquid. The bottle always come out a little too hot to the touch, but the liquid inside was body temperature (98F).
Note: There was a "new electronic smell' the first few times I used it but it eventually went away.
This is such a great inexpensive option when it comes to baby bottle warmers. It works to warm up good in under 10 minutes. I feel like its a great option to warm up baby bottle without the need to run to the kitchen every night. It fits one bottle at a time and fits majority of them. It has the dial button to rotate to your preference.
